An innovation of the 21st century

Today's nanotechnology finds its application in the field of medicinal, medical, cosmetic as well as food supplement products and makes the production of water-soluble nano-CBD hand extracts possible.[1]

In this process, the cannabinoids, flavonoids, terpenes and other ingredients extracted from the hemp plant are broken down into their smallest parts (nanoparticles), which promise direct and faster absorption via the bloodstream as well as higher bioavailability.[2] The result is that the cannabinoids, flavonoids, terpenes and other ingredients are broken down into their smallest parts (nanoparticles), which promise direct and faster absorption via the bloodstream as well as higher bioavailability.

Bioavailability describes how much of the ingested substance actually reaches the bloodstream.

In contrast to conventional CBD oils, where only about ten percent of the ingested dose can be absorbed by our body when taken orally, the bioavailability of nano-CBD hemp extracts is almost 100 percent.

This is because the ingredients of the hemp plant, which have been reduced to the size of nanoparticles, do not have to be digested via the stomach in order to enter the bloodstream. Instead, due to their size (around 80,000 times smaller than the diameter of a human hair), these particles are absorbed directly by the cells of our body.

To ensure this, nano-CBD hand extracts are processed using a special procedure to form a water-soluble emulsion that can be dissolved in any liquid.

With CBD oils, whose ingredients must first be broken down by the enzymes in the stomach and liver due to their size (approx. 2,000 nanometres) before they can enter the bloodstream, it can take 15-30 minutes for the desired effect to occur.

In the case of water-soluble nano-CBD hand extracts, it takes about four minutes due to the direct absorption of the nanoparticles (60-80 nanometres in size). Due to the up to ten times higher bioavailability, these should be dosed lower than conventional CBD oils.[3]

However, the dosage depends on one's own sensation as well as on the area of application. For application and dosage recommendations, consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is recommended.

Advantages of nano-CBD hemp extracts compared to conventional CBD oils:

  • higher bioavailability
  • Faster absorption into the bloodstream
  • heightened effect
  • smaller dose
